OVERVIEW

There is currently a need for investment in large-scale sustainable fuel production plants if the supply is to meet the expected demand in the next 5-10 years. The Center is currently investigating how early investments in these plants can be unlocked and accelerated. One potential solution that we are looking into is a ‘fuel demand aggregator’ as a means to gather the necessary scale of long-term offtake commitment to make sustainable fuel projects bankable.

Through an aggregator, first movers would be able to share the risk of committing to emerging technologies within the maritime sector, drive the transition into alternative fuels and also meet decarbonization targets.

We are looking for an experienced project manager to take the Fuel Demand Aggregator forward. The preferred candidate will therefore be allocated min 80% to the Center and take residence in Copenhagen during the assignment.
