OVERVIEW
To help accelerate the alternative fuel transition, the Center is involved in several projects across the globe supporting the implementation of green corridors. Green corridors are shipping routes on which there are commercially operating ships using exclusively alternative fuels. In practice, a green corridor may be implemented in phases, where the use of alternative fuels evolves gradually, and design is made scalable to ensure flexibility and the realization of the green corridor. The Center has developed methodologies for both pre-feasibility and feasibility studies of green corridors, which all projects are following.
We are looking for 2 experienced project managers to take on responsibility for one or more green corridor projects. The preferred start date is August - September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The preferred candidates will be allocated at a minimum of 80% full time equivalent to the Center for at least 12 months. They are expected to take residence in Copenhagen and work from the Center during the assignment.
ORGANIZATION AND TEAM
Chief Energy & Fuels Impact Hub Officer> Energy and Fuels Impact Hub > Green Corridors> Secondee
You will join the Energy and Fuels Impact Hub. The Energy & Fuels Impact Hub advances the maritime decarbonization by providing the knowledge, tools, and partnerships needed to scale sustainable fuels and their supporting infrastructure. As a thought leader, we develop visions, frameworks, and pathways for the adoption of sustainable energy and fuels. We focus on practical solutions for production, transport, adoption, and supporting onshore infrastructure. As a collaborator, we mobilize stakeholders across the entire fuel value chain to build partnerships that accelerate the development of new energy and fuel ecosystems. We bring together fuel producers, port authorities, and vessel operators to co-develop the pilots and infrastructure needed for the transition. As an influencer, we guide decision-makers to create the policies and financial frameworks needed for scalable alternative fuel adoption.
In your day-to-day role, you will be fully dedicated to projects within the green corridors program and will therefore also have a network of green corridor project managers working on projects similar to you, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within that program.
