Student Assistant: Graphic Design

Who We Are

We’re a not-for-profit Center dedicated to decarbonizing the maritime industry. Our team unites experts from many fields – engineers, economists, analysts, software developers, and more – who share a passion for making a real difference. We’re based in Copenhagen but collaborate globally. We value collaboration, curiosity, and treating people (and the planet) right.

Who You Are

You are a creative problem-solver who thrives on delivering simple yet impactful design solutions while contributing to the green transition of the maritime industry. We are looking for a talented and ambitious graphic design student who is motivated by working with visual brand identity and creative communication. You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to balance creativity with structure. You thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy managing multiple projects, and bring enthusiasm to both routine tasks and more conceptual design work.

-          A natural ability to bring structure to creative environments.

-          A creative, open-minded, and pragmatic team player.

-          Passionate about the green transition and sustainability.

-          Able to think outside the box while maintaining discipline and attention to detail.

-          Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Illustrator (experience with animation and video is a plus).

-          Skilled in PowerPoint, with the ability to create visually engaging presentations.

-          Organized, responsible, and capable of meeting deadlines.

-          Comfortable multitasking and managing multiple design projects.

-          Fluent in written and spoken English.

What You’ll Do

You’ll join our Communications team and be supported by our Brand Activation Partner. You will play a key role in visual communication, helping to shape how we engage with our audience. This is your chance to apply and develop your design skills in a mission-driven organization dedicated to decarbonizing the global maritime industry. Specifically, your tasks will include:

-          Designing layouts for digital products, including web and social media content, using Adobe Creative Suite.

-          Creating visualizations of complex processes, models, and flows.

-          Supporting the development of PowerPoint presentations with engaging and polished designs.

-          Assisting with graphical setup across digital platforms, including social media, newsletters, and the website.

-          Contributing to creative idea development and conceptual work within the communications team.

-          Preparing visual materials for digital and physical events and conferences.

-          Transforming complex information into clear, visually compelling design solutions.

Why Join Us

We aim for a supportive, friendly environment where collaboration thrives. We’re proud of our mission to guide one of the world’s hard-to-abate industries toward a greener future. You’ll have room to explore, learn, and do your best work – plus, we like to have fun along the way. You’ll join our network of student assistants and work flexible hours (around 15–20 per week) that respect your exam schedule. As you develop your skills with us, you’ll see your work make a genuine impact, gaining hands-on experience in creative communication and design.
