The Opportunity

We are currently looking to strengthen our Fuel Infrastructure & Ports Team with a Fuel Infrastructure & Ports Manager!

The Fuel Infrastructure and Ports Team focuses on accelerating the implementation of alternative fuel supply chains through projects related to the transportation, handling, and storage of alternative fuels on the landside, as well as through the development of green corridors for shipping. Green corridors are defined shipping routes with identified ports, operators, and cargo owners, along which commercially operating vessels use alternative fuels or battery propulsion.

The Fuel Infrastructure & Ports Manager will work closely with Heads of Program and project managers, contributing to and leading key Center projects. This multifaceted role offers the opportunity to engage across the organization and to represent the Center in interactions with global external stakeholders.

The Fuel Infrastructure & Ports Manager will report to the Head of Fuel Infrastructure & Ports in our Energy & Fuels Impact Hub.

    • Represent the Center in external forums, working groups, and industry events to share insights and promote best practices in alternative fuel infrastructure and green corridor development.
    • Identify and assess risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities in fuel infrastructure projects, and proactively propose mitigation strategies.
  • Technical leadership, planning of resources and tasks within own projects and at hub level
  • Assess infrastructure readiness and identify requirements for port and landside fuel supply chain development.
