The Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping is a not-for-profit, independent R&D center working to accelerate the decarbonization of the global maritime industry. In close collaboration with partners across shipping, energy, academia, and authorities, we develop pathways, test new technologies, and de-risk critical components of the transition. The transition requires a shift from a business-as-usual thinking to a more sustainable, but also more costly future, as we as consumers have to pay more, to ensure a better planet for the next generations. For this pre-commercial space (no direct monetary business case exists), we are now looking to strengthen our Green Corridor Team with a Project Developer with strong Project Management skills.
Catalyzing the pre-commercial projects are done under the strategic umbrella of Program Catalyze Ecosystem Transition (CAT). The program is one of four programs, and resides in the Energy & Fuels Impact Hub, as the main commercial challenge for the projects is the cost difference between current fossil-based fuel and the future sustainable fuels.
The Green Corridor Project Developer will report to the Head of Program CAT in our Energy & Fuels Impact Hub, but also work closely with the Head of Program and other project managers across the Center, contributing to and leading key Center projects. This multifaceted role offers the opportunity to engage across the organization and to represent the Center in interactions with global external stakeholders.
