Your current home employer remains your employer during the period in which you perform your contribution to the Center.

Thus, the employer obligations will remain with your home employer including payment of all compensation, salaries, remuneration and costs owed to you as an employee, as well as any social or employment related taxes and all associated costs and expenses.

ORGANIZATION AND TEAM

As a secondee in the E-Fuels team at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, you will play a key role in evaluating and advancing Power-to-X technologies. Your work will directly support the Center’s mission to decarbonize global shipping through innovative, scalable, and economically viable solutions.

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Analyze emerging PtX technologies (e.g., green hydrogen, e-methanol, ammonia) from a technical and economic perspective
  • Support the development of techno-economic models to assess feasibility, scalability, and cost trajectories
  • Collaborate with industry partners, researchers, and internal teams to evaluate commercial pathways
  • Translate complex technical insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
  • Contribute to publications that influence global shipping decarbonization
WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE
  • Ability to synthesize technical data into clear, strategic insights
 
CONTENT KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCES NEEDED
 
  • A degree in engineering, energy systems, economics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of PtX technologies and their role in the energy transition
  • Experience with techno-economic modeling and lifecycle cost analysis
