Student Assistant – Multiple Fields

At Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, we have a strong and engaged student community contributing across several key areas. As some of our student assistants are approaching the end of their studies, we are looking for new motivated and talented profiles to take over and continue the great work within the following fields:

Communications

  • Support and drive internal communications initiatives, including serving as editor and day-to-day owner of the company intranet & light proofreading and language review of written communications and other outputs
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of events, such as webinars, large-scale external events, and internal events
  • Help maintain, update, and further develop internal communication channels

Economics & Transition Finance

  • Read and understand complex regulatory texts to support analytical outputs
  • Support quantitative and qualitative research on policy mechanisms and the markets they aim to shape
  • Contribute to various outputs, including reports, bilateral meetings, webinars, workshops, and newsletters

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

  • Support LCA modelling and data analysis related to maritime fuels and technologies
  • Assist in data collection, validation, and documentation
  • Contribute to reports and presentations on environmental impact

Public Affairs

  • Support stakeholder mapping and engagement activities
  • Assist in preparing policy briefs, background materials and presentations for Center engagement, including at the IMO, EU and with international partners and projects
  • Monitor, synthesise and brief Center colleagues on relevant (international) political developments

Regulatory Affairs

  • Track and analyse regulatory developments, including IMO processes
  • Support preparation of policy inputs and technical documentation
  • Assist in coordinating regulatory-related activities

Requirements:

  • You are currently enrolled in a relevant study program in the Copenhagen area, preferably commencing your 1st year of a Master programme.
  • You are able to work approximately 15–20 hours per week
  • Start date: As soon as possible
